Bio:

No. Its not Quincy but Quincey, with an extra 'e'. It gives the name a slightly debonaire feeling, are these gentlemen a little snooty perhaps? Do they feel a little better than the rest of us?

Nothing of the like. Insiders know  that the name simply refers to a sleepy french town, where the band had their international debut in 2001. Having fond memories of this fantastic town the band adopted its name as theirs.

Nowadays well experienced and critically acclaimed, Quincey has set aside ego and produces jazz music at equal base whitout restraints. They use any kind of musical material they can find, dissect it and then reconstruct it into something very personal. Both in elaborate composition, and in refined improvisation.

In 2006 Quincey reached the finals of the Dutch Jazz Competition

Over the year Quincey played at many Jazzclubs, Festivals and international concert halls. Quincey shared the stage with musicians like: Deborah J Carter, Roos Jonker, Ruud Breuls, Anton Goudsmit, Benjamin Herman, Janne Schra.
